Cellulites: myths and facts (Part 1)


As well as any other mass phenomenon, cellulite has gradually gained various myths and sometimes it is so difficult to understand them all. Here a list of the most widespread myths and facts about cellulites, the reasons of its occurrence and ways of elimination.
Cellulites - is especially female problem
Certainly, more often women become the victims of cellulites by virtue of especially structure of a connecting fabric, but men also are not protected from it. Waist and forward part of a hip are the zones of special risk at men.
The role of female sexual hormones - estrogen in formation of cellulites - has been scientifically proved. Many men received an estrogen as treatment, were inclined to occurrence of a cellulites. But, on the other hand, hormonal therapy is powerless in struggle against cellulites.

Cellulites happens only at older persons
It is only a myth! As soon as in an organism of the girl processes of transformation into the woman starts, occurrence of cellulites becomes quite real. The truth consists that the more senior an organism becomes, the more difficult it will be to cope with a problem of a cellulites as the skin becomes less elastic, and processes of an exchange are slowed down. In a young organism the cellulites is shown in the form of so-called “orange peel”, which at absence of struggle with it, passes into the started stage at more advanced age.
Only buttocks and hips suffer from cellulites
More often it is really so (in anatomic contest these places are adapted for fatty stocks!), BUT at some people the artful cellulites nevertheless occurs even on waist, shin and the top part of the hand.
Cellulites - is the result of excess weight
Certainly, no! Even thin people suffer from cellulites, and your weight doesn’t play any role here. But, nevertheless, superfluous kilograms are the additional risk factor for occurrence of cellulites. Besides the superfluous quantity of a fatty layer promotes pushing cellulites closer to the skin, that, strengthening its external effects.
