Stone Age diet (Part 2)
The ancient person lived for about 30 years. The reason of early death, if to exclude violent leaving from a life, was caused by various bacteria. But today we easily cope with these problems by means of hygiene and achievements of pharmacology. Having observed a feed of the so-called wild people forgotten in remote corners of a planet, the scientists have come to conclusion that their “diet” has not practically varied for thousand years.
As a result these tribes practically do not suffer adiposity, diabetes, a hypertension, oncological diseases, possess greater endurance and force. But when they collide with achievements of a modern civilization and pass to a modern feed, the situation cardinally varies. they Very quickly get all those illnesses, which became a scourge of our society.
So, what are the main differences of our today’s feed from a diet of an epoch of a Paleolithic?
- The parity of vegetative and animal food has cardinally exchanged. Primitive people received 65 % of all energy with animal food and 35 % - with vegetative. The share of fiber in their diet made 37 %, fats - 22 %, and carbohydrates - 41 %. The modern situation is the following: 15 % of fiber, 34 % of fats and 49 % of carbohydrates. It turns out, that today we consume more fats. And the most part from them are the harmful sated fats, processed by means of modern technologies.
The diet of primitive people was very rich with greens - their daily norm exceeded 100 grams. Besides ancient people had no a habit to salt or to dulcify food.

I think that Modern Civilisation is both a cause AND a symptom of Modern Disease. Recently i’ve been following a primal way of life, and it’s had huge benefits for my health, fitness, and general well being.
At last the word is getting out there. I’m doing my bit also on http://www.cavemanpower.com
Thanks and keep up the good work!
