How to stay slim after 35 years (Part 1)
Nature is so unfair to women. If till 25 years the majority of women can eat any high-calorie food, after 35-40 years excess weight starts to accrue and it is more difficult to get rid of it, if not impossible.
Certainly, somehow it is “merit” of the inactive way of life. At this age many women change their lifestyle: they do not dance all nights long at the night club, and with the great pleasure spend evening at good restaurant or, at the worst, in front of the TV. Yes, such way of life adds superfluous kilograms. But it is not that easy.
Principal cause of a prompt set of weight -relies in ill-starred hormones. Approximately at the age of 40 years and at many women already at 35 hormonal changes start in the organism. At young women menses cycle hormones counterbalance each other. If the estrogen forces an organism to accumulate fatty weight, the progesterone helps to support muscular weight, which burns all unnecessary fat. At women after 35-40 years this balance starts to be broken. In such cycles the level of progesterone sharply falls, and the balance of two hormones is displaced in favor of an estrogen, so, in accumulation of fat. Metabolism is not so active. This means that daily you spend for 25-100 calories less, than at younger age, even at the same level of physical activity and consumption of food.Â
Simple strategy: Move!
The level of impellent activity with the years sharply decreases: you should not walk any more as in young years, pushing a children’s carriage and the increased material welfare has allowed getting washing and a dishwasher. Certainly, various technical adaptations save our time, but with each such economy you burn fewer calories, than could. If you wish to support your weight in norm you should be engaged in physical exercises not less than 150 minutes a week - it is the minimum level of physical activities, recommended by experts. Try to walk more. Researches show, that the metabolism at women who like to move constantly, is raised in comparison with quieter women.
