There is a set of factors, which in the combination lead to delay of metabolism. At the slowed metabolism our organism takes more than calories, than usually, and postpones them in the form of fatty stocks.
Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find out, whether the metabolism is slowed. As speed of a metabolism is being influenced by so many factors, it is impossible to lead direct tests. Nevertheless, in some cases it is possible to suspect a metabolic syndrome.
The group of risk of a metabolic syndrome includes men and women, whose:
• Waist is more than 85 centimeters at women and 100 centimeters at men
• Arterial pressure is above 130/85 mm hg
• Sugar in blood is more than 6.1 m./l.
• High triglycerides level
Certainly, with the years the metabolism is slowed down at the majority of people. But the slowed metabolism cannot excuse excess weight. Dieticians consider, that if you watch what you eat, go info sports, accept corresponding medicines or food additives, you can support a normal metabolism during all life. And it is possible to accelerate metabolism at any age.
