French diet or what we can learn from French cuisine


Traditional French diet differs by simplicity, it has no is no that refinement and propagandized restaurants.
Frenchmen, as well as other nations, as are inclined to excess weight, but it happen so because they refuse from traditional feed.
1. Freshness. Diet has many fresh products, many fresh high-quality vegetables, fruits, grasses and spices, which do dishes tasty, not adding superfluous calories.
2. Balance. It is possible to tell, that each reception includes products of all food groups (fruits-vegetables, bread, fish-meat, oils, etc.). French diet is rich in useful fats. It has a lot of olive and butter.
3. Moderation., probably, the most important thing is that French people eat with small portions. Small portions allow avoiding overeating.
4. Pleasure from meal. Frenchmen are able to take pleasure in process of food absorption. They carefully chew food and do not hasten. Frenchmen never eat in front of the TV. During meal they are concentrated only on meal.
5. Home food. Frenchmen prefer to eat at home, thus, it allows supervising the quality of products and food easier. Americans prefer to eat out and suffer from surplus of fat in dishes and very much greater portions.
6. Active way of life. Frenchmen like to walk much. It is the best way to health and a figure.
