Burning of fat or preservation of muscles - all depends on when to accept food (Part 1)
This conclusion has been made after only several researches. According to the data, received 20 years ago, during some of these researches those, who ate once a day and only in the morning, managed to loose more extra kilograms. At the same time the losses were minimal or the weight even increased, when the same quantity of meal was consumed for a supper. However, these experiences proceeded not for long (1-3 weeks) and were insufficiently proved as few people eat once a day, eating all food at once.
But now we have the new information of influence of time of meal on weight of the body.
Diet research
10 women, in the age of from 23 till 29 years, have taken part in experiences, which proceeded during 15 weeks (105 days). The purpose of the research was to study the influence of time of food perception on body weight; usual healthy women with a normal metabolism in body of which the particle of fats of a body reached 37 % stayed in the skilled center of San Francisco under vigilant supervision of doctors. The experiment has been divided into three parts. The Initial stage, which proceeded 3 weeks, meant the support of constant weight. Further there were two periods for 6 weeks. During the second stage the participants have been divided into two groups- A and B. The first group consumed 70 % of all day time norm in the morning, and another - afternoon. During the last 6 weeks both groups ate equally.
During the stabilization period everyone ate sufficient for support of normal weight. During first six weeks caloric content has been distributed in the following way. The first group received on 35 % for breakfast, lunch and dinner and 15 % - for supper. And the second group, on the contrary, received 15 % of total meal for breakfast and lunch and 35 % - for dinner and a supper. All meal consisted of 60 % of carbohydrates, 18 % of fibers and 22 % of fats.
During all time (15 weeks) participants of researches carried out three kinds of physical exercises: daily walk (1 hour), racetrack exercises (5 times a week at the moderate loadings), a complex of exercises on rise of weight (3 times a week).
Supervision of a feed and physical activity was carried out very diligently though it was extremely complex.
